I am working with our hosting company to resolve these issues. In the course of troubleshooting the problem, the tech I spoke with noticed that our database needs to be upgraded. The tech believes that the upgrade will improve performance. I have scheduled the upgrade for Thursday, 3 AM EST (that's about 3 hours as of this writing).
