News posts have an incredibly short word limit, shorter than I'm allowing you.

Take the story in the enclosed area above, choose the world you are writing in - be it Lunaria or Solaria - and continue the story from where I've left off. You're free to take it in whichever direction you want to go. It can be a happy story, a sad story, or even one full of chaos, anything goes. There will be some rules of course, those are listed...well...NOW!


1. You must keep this PG. 13. Additionally, if your story has themes that might be scary, please note it before your story so any users reading it may skip if they are sensitive to such themes.

2. Outside of what I've provided, the rest of the story must be entirely your own work.

3. Your word limit is 500 words, MAX. Please do not go over at all. We're going to be stricter about this since writing contests are one of the ones that are the hardest to judge - they require much, much, MUCH, more time than a lot of us have to spare, hence the usually shorter word limits. So don't go over the 500 words. This does not count what I have provided.

4. Adding to that note, I will be up front and state, before I kick this to staff to judge, I WILL be word counting what you've submitted, and deleting anything over 500 words so the staff know to skip it. This is noted so I don't get PMs asking why someone's post has been deleted.

5. You can use the site NPCs, if you desire, or you may make up new characters, however, the world is set in Lunaria or Solaria, so please be sure to keep that in mind when building any new characters.

6. Do not post entries on this news post. Please use the link provided above, and post on the thread linked. This news post is just so the minigame is able to come out at a specific time.
