Update to DUC and Art Rule Clarification

  **Clarification** Art Rules

On July 7th we posted about an update to Rule #2 of the Art Rules (click here to go to the news post). Based on some questions we've received, we want to provide further clarification:

Firstly, Wajas absolutely allows players to make use of Wajas art (wallpapers, items, waja images, etc) when selling banners / tags / etc. on site. Originally, this allowance was paired with a rule that stated each usage needed to be credited to a specific artist. This rule was written a few years ago during the first major revamp of art sale rules, and we recently realized that the rule was too strict (and not often enforced). So, the rule was changed on the 8th.

For future use of Wajas art, the ONLY thing that players need to do is to state somewhere on their sales thread that Wajas art is used. No specific credit for every piece is needed, just a single general statement. Another note: this allowance is only for art being sold on Wajas, for Wajas currency / items / etc. Except for the Wajas texture images in the library, Wajas art CANNOT be used for orders sold for USD. Nor can Wajas art be used for anything sold offsite. Any artist with more questions is free to ask any silver or bronze feathered mod for further clarification.

 **Update** Dress Up Contest

Soon you will be able to choose whether or not you want to allow other users to use your crafts in Dressup Contests! We're tentatively planning for this feature to go live on the 15th (after submissions end for the current round). By default crafts will not be allowed to be used in the DUC, so if you want to let users use your crafts be sure to go change the settings once this change goes live (included steps below)!

If a craft is not allowed to be used in Dress Up Contests, they will be notified when they go to submit:

To Update Your Preferences (per craft):
(*You will not be able to change settings until this feauture goes live on the 15th)

1. Go to your Craft Book.
2. Select the craft you want to change.
3. Underneath the preview/option to retire your craft is the option to swap the toggle (images below).
     a. The toggle is live, so you don't need to hit a save button.
or

4. You can review the individual craft preferences on the main Craft Book Page:

**Important** Changing this setting during entry submission will not impact entries already submitted. If a user uses a craft that was allowed at the time of their submission, their entry is valid and will not be disqualified by the owner of the craft changing the toggle. So, it is important to update your preferences before entry submissions begin!
