Who is Subtember?  Why is Subtember?  How is Subtember?  Yes.

We've decided to transform the month of September into Subtember for the whole of the site.  During this month, our goal is to promote the subbreeds, which is one of the easiest ways to hop into the community and make friends.  We are starting in the month of August though in order to get things prepped for September.

The first area that we have started is:

• Submit a Subbreed Design for Site Use

For this thread, we're allowing users to use our Custom Demo to make a design for an existing subbreed for us to potentially use as a site prize, in the waja park, or as a site raffle.  Please click the above thread for more information!

The second area that we have started is:

• Submit a Subbreed to be Spotlighted

In this thread, we're asking the owners or helpers of the subbreeds to submit their subbreeds to be spotlighted in a news post.  There's a lot to it, so please be sure to read the thread in full before submitting a subbreed.  If you are not the owner/co-owner/helper of the subbreed, you should not be submitting for that subbreed unless it hits one of the circumstances listed in that thread.

We have added a new tag to the News Posts where these spotlights will be posted.  It is called "Spotlights" and may be used in the future to also spotlight parts of the site and other things.  You are able to turn off notifications for this tag by visiting your News Settings and unchecking the "spotlight" option.  REMEMBER: You are in control of what news you see!

In addition to the above, we will be having some other games/contests, so stay tuned for those come September!

For those two threads, everything must be in by Thursday (8/31) morning when I wake up.  I am leaving out of state on Friday so I need to get everything scheduled Thursday afternoon for the weekend spotlights / the Wajas made for the first Waja Park release (there will be multiple rounds of park releases at different times). 

The first round will not be at a set time - since it will be when I have time between travelling.  The remaining rounds will be announced for a specific day and time and will be released as close to that time as staff can get (give or take a few minutes since in some instances Sadi may be setting an alarm to get up and do it so hang tight if it's not happened immediately).  Our hope is to ensure a variety of times getting hit so its not the same users getting first dibs.
