Who is Subtember?  Why is Subtember?  How is Subtember?  Yes.

Last year, we decided to transform the month of September into Subtember and you all seemed to have a lot of fun!  During this year's Subtember, you'll notice that we're running the event on a smaller scale - we'll still be doing daily spotlights on both site and on social media, and we'll also be doing a Waja Park release, but for this year there will not be any additional contests.

That said, the first area of importance is:

• Submit a Subbreed Design for the Park

For this thread, we're allowing users to use our Custom Demo to make a design for an existing subbreed for us to potentially make and release in the waja park.  Please click the above thread for more information!  Make sure to read all of the rules, this is not a "you design and win it" contest.

The second area that we have started is:

• Submit a Subbreed to be Spotlighted

In this thread, we're asking the owners or helpers of the subbreeds to submit their subbreeds to be spotlighted in a news post.  There's a lot to it, so please be sure to read the thread in full before submitting a subbreed.  If you are not the owner/co-owner/helper of the subbreed, you should not be submitting for that subbreed unless it hits one of the circumstances listed in that thread.

We have a tag where these News Posts will be posted called "Spotlights".  You are able to turn on or off notifications for this tag by visiting your News Settings and checking or unchecking the "spotlight" option.  REMEMBER: You are in control of what news you see!

For those two threads, everything must be in by Thursday (8/29) morning when I wake up.  I need time to preschedule any news posts and to make any customs, so that will be the deadline for submitting both your subbreed and a design if you want to possibly see it made and used in the park.  Do not procrastinate.  I will not be taking late entries. 


Regarding Waja Park releases:  Like last year, we will do multiple rounds of park releases.  The first round of park releases will not be at a set time.  The remaining rounds will be announced for a specific day and time and will be released as close to that time as staff can get (give or take a few minutes since in some instances Sadi may be setting an alarm to get up and do it so hang tight if it's not happened immediately).  Our hope is to ensure a variety of times getting hit so its not the same users getting first dibs.

• We do not have a guaranteed amount of Wajas we will make for the park.  I have to see how many come in and then run things by Estu.  Please do not ask how many customs we will make.  Please do not ask when we will release them.  We will do a news post after the first round is released and everyone will be notified at once.
